Spectrophotometric determination of Mesalazine by formation of copling with reagent

چکیده

A simple, developed, fast and accurate spectrophotometric method for determination of Mesalazine (MSL) in its pure form pharmaceutical preparation (Pentasa). This was based on the formation complex between MSL reagent 2,6-Dichloro indophenol sodium (DIS) to give a red color product that gives ats highest absorption at wavelength 520 nm. The best conditions were found (time, temperature, optimal concentration, pH). linearity consisting ranged from 5-30 µg/ml, Sandell's index 0.0354µg/cm2, molar coefficient 4318.40L/mol.cm detection limit 0.252µg /ml , quantitative 0.766 µg/ml percent recovery range Rec% (98.900-101.715)% relative standard deviation rate RSD% (0.00306- 0.00696)%. It precision has been successfully applied estimate preparation, direct methods multi additions.
